My hands get incredibly sweaty with ps4 controllers, non as much with 360.
If you have the latest Win10 update only launch the DS4Windows, plug in your controller and permit it all update, get the drivers and then on. Windows should recognise it as an Xbox controller and allow usage.
Try likewise plugging and unplugging the controller, check if you hear the USB recognition sound, tick and untick the Hide DS4 selection and too try changing the USB slot if that might be an effect

ii) Get to your device managing director window and turn off Bluetooth HID-Device (Human Interface Devices category)
3) Turn DS4Windows on
iv) Turn Bluetooth HID-Device on
5) Push connect button on your controller

Mine is nonetheless not working. I updated my pc, launched DS4Windows, plugged in my controller and so on and then forth. I dont believe that windows recognizes information technology as a xbox controller because every bit soon as I plug information technology in without the ds4 software it lights upwards but then fades to dark. Ive been using Ds4 for a long time now and this is the offset time it has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with me similar this.

The API for the Steam Controller allows the PS4 pad to exist used natively (no DS4Windows) since both Steam/PS4 controller are near functionally identical. I don't know if it is implemented yet though. First up Big Picture and check :)

just utilize InputMapper its the newer version of ds4windows

Information technology might exist active at present, I don't know. I dont take my PS4 pad anymore, then I deceit test. It should be in Big Picture mode though
I am using PS4 controller + InputMapper software. Works like a dream
My sequence:
one. Turn controller on
ii. Go to DS4Windows - Settings - modify option "Hide DS4 controller' twice, i.eastward. it will be back to "hibernate enabled" for me.
3. Delete HID-Controller in Windows settings.
four. Run the game
Works 100%, merely have to echo afterward every PC reboot
I've recently got the same problem... I restarted couple of time and it worked, and at present once more it'south not working anymore... even for other games... and so uncommon
